Volunteer Education Workshop
Volunteers support deliver of wetland conservation message through various activities. For example, they teach children to take a closer look at wetland animals through workshops and games, and bring their "masterpieces" back home. Highlights include "Volunteer Origami Station" and "Wetland Animals Badge Workshop" organise at weekends or public holidays.
We would also have to do the field trip quite early because we will have to wait fir two months after we sign the VOLUNTEER PROGRAM!.

What is it?
We clean the the wetlands. Check for any virus and litter and check if the birds and fish and all that are clean.
"HKWP Volunteers" are a group of dedicated nature lovers, who are willing to contribute to the society through participating and supporting wetland conservation activities. These activities include volunteer training, habitat conservation work, guided interpretation service at exhibition galleries and wetland reserve, as well as a variety of education events. Volunteers demonstrate concern and devote time to protecting wetlands. They function as an integral part of the HKWP.
Participants will provide the vegetation management services at wetland reserve area. These include weeding, fertilising, clearance of invasive exotic plants, tree planting, as well as tree tending.
Why should you join?
- Because the Black-Faced Spoonbills are the most endangered bird species on earth.
- We can help their habitat by planting trees and plants.
- Because peaple are hunting for the otter's fur, feathers and skin or for food
- We can clean the rubbish in the water which kills fishes and shrimps and water animals.
- If you learn about the wetland animals you will see how crucial the wetland animals are.
